Accessibility
We want this site to work with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, reduced motion settings, and a wide range of screen sizes.
Our approach
Our accessibility goal is to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. The site uses semantic headings and landmarks, visible keyboard focus, sufficient color contrast, large touch targets, responsive text, descriptive link labels, and support for reduced motion settings.
How the site is checked
Accessibility checks cover keyboard navigation, focus order, zoom and text resizing, responsive layouts, reduced motion, page structure, link purpose, and automated code analysis. Automated checks cannot find every barrier, so reader feedback remains important.
Motion and media
The decorative hero video is muted and contains no information or spoken content. When a browser exposes a reduced-motion or data-saving preference, the video is not loaded and a static poster is shown instead. It also pauses when out of view or when the page is not visible.
Testimony PDF
The complete testimony is a self-hosted, tagged PDF in the publisher’s fixed-page format. The testimony page provides an embedded reader plus direct open and download links because browser and assistive-technology support for PDFs varies.
Known limitation
A reflowing HTML version of the complete testimony is not currently available. Readers can open or download the PDF for use with their preferred browser, PDF reader, or assistive technology.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier, include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you used if you are comfortable sharing it. Please do not send sensitive medical information.
